TRAN THI TRUC VY

On the first day arriving at Thai Binh Duong university, I felt delighted with the warm welcome from the teachers of the university. The principal with his sense of humor created an enjoyable atmosphere, therefore eliminating the exhaustion as a result of the flight from Ho Chi Minh city. The workshop organized in the afternoon also benefited me a lot as I had a chance to listen to numerous research papers, igniting my motivation to continue my incomplete thesis. I really admire the presenters’ confident demeanor as well as their in-depth research.
I gained valuable experience for my teaching career. After the first demo-teaching session at Thai Binh Duong University, I realized that my time management in the classroom is not really good since my teaching part exceeded the allotted time by more than 5 minutes, emphasizing that I have to improve my time management skills.

What impressed me most was the students in the Navy Academy who had provided us wholehearted support. At first, when arriving at the hall where our presentation occurred, I was extremely stressed because of its formality, together with the sudden decision regarding the use of Vietnamese instead of English announced the night before. My level of nervousness was accelerated since our group was the first group to present. Fortunately, such a negative feeling was dispelled within just a few first minutes as students there engaged actively in our talk from beginning to the end without showing any signs of fatigue or boredom.
