INSTITUTIONS
The practicum included organizing and engaging in four major activities: a workshop, micro-teaching sessions, a seminar, and visits to collaborative academic institutions. Our practicum team selected Thai Binh Duong University and the Naval Academy in Nha Trang City, Khánh Hòa Province, for these activities. These institutions were chosen for their distinguished core educational values and their commitment to fostering a robust learning environment.
Thai Binh Duong University
Thai Binh Duong University, located at 79 Mai Thị Dõng Street, Vĩnh Ngọc Ward, Nha Trang City, prides itself on six core values: Integrity, Academic Freedom, Appreciation for Differences, Responsibility, Modernization, and Harmony. Our observations highlighted the university's dedication to these principles through various initiatives. The institution fosters integrity by upholding high ethical standards in academic and administrative processes. It promotes academic freedom by encouraging intellectual exploration and critical thinking among students and faculty. The appreciation for differences is evident in its inclusive policies and diverse campus culture, while responsibility is emphasized through community engagement and environmental sustainability projects. Modernization is reflected in the adoption of advanced technologies and innovative teaching methods, and harmony is maintained through collaborative efforts and a supportive campus environment.
The Naval Academy
The Naval Academy, situated at 30 Trần Phú Street, Vĩnh Nguyên Ward, Nha Trang City, is dedicated to providing exemplary training for the Vietnamese Navy Force and Coast Guards. The academy's commitment to discipline, patriotism, and professional excellence was evident in its structured training programs and rigorous academic curriculum. According to our observations, the Naval Academy ensures its core values are upheld through comprehensive leadership training, fostering a strong sense of duty and national pride among cadets. The academy also emphasizes physical fitness, strategic thinking, and teamwork, preparing its students for the multifaceted challenges of naval service.
